Landjet Intermodal LLC is a Southern California–based trucking company proudly serving the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
We specialize in port drayage, chassis-based container transport, and reefer operations—backed by our own fleet of company-owned trucks, chassis, and gensets. By owning and maintaining our own equipment, we ensure reliability, faster turn times, and consistent service for every customer.
Our company’s roots run deep in the local logistics industry.
Thomas began in 2012 as a dispatcher, later advancing to Operations Manager, where he grew a major port drayage division before earning his CDL in 2019 to gain firsthand driving experience.
Ricky began his career in 2013 as a port driver, purchased his first truck in 2017, and built his own company as an owner-operator serving the Los Angeles and Long Beach ports.
In 2020, Thomas and Ricky joined forces to form Ricky’s Transport Corp, combining their operational and driver expertise.
By 2023, that company merged with another asset-based carrier to establish Landjet Intermodal LLC—a move that expanded our network of trucks, chassis, gensets, and temperature-controlled warehouses. This strategic merger positioned us to better serve our customers with broader coverage, improved capacity, and dependable service across the Los Angeles and Inland Empire regions.
